THAMES GIRLS.
PINAL REUNION. The final reunion of the Thames Girls' Club (Incorporated) was held in the Druids' Hall, Newton. Mrs. H. Stubbing, president, assisted by Miss P. Hutchison, vice-patroness, Mrs. A. Bowyer and Miss M. MacLeod, vice-presidents, received the guests. A competition, for a trophy donated by Mrs. J. Moras was won by Mrs. Herivel.
Items included: Songs, Mrs. I. Shaw; recitations, Mrs. H. Burney; piano accordion, Desmond Thorn; songs, Miss Flo. "White; -duets (saxophone and cornet), Miss Lorna Skinner and Mr. Bill Sykes; Irish dances, Desmond Thorn and Gwen Sinclair. Madame Dunn was the accompanist.
