SWIMMING.
HARBOUR RACK. MORGAN CUP TO K. WILLIAMS. The annual harbour race of one mile and a quarter from the Torpedo wharf. North Head, to Devonport wharf, for the Morgan Cnp. conducted by the North Shore Amateur Swimniiing Club, was won by K. Williams (North Shore), who swam second fastest time. Tlip fastest time was registered by I'. E. Mntliipson CWaitemata). 24.04. Results were:—K. Williams (0.01, 26.fifi. 1; M. Hannah. Ponsonby (11.0), 34.20, 2; Xα. C'amplin. Parnell, (18.0), Sti.2s, 8; A. r.itchfleld. Ponsonbv (10.3d). 34.15. 4- R Webster, North Shore (<i..V.). 30.45, 5 ; .Miss L. Browning, Eastern Suburbs (11.0), 35.0. 6. There were 14 starters, of whom two retired. Swimming conditions were unpleasant, a southerly wind causing a head-on chop.
