"THE WOMEN."
The east of 40 women which is to present Clare Boothe's outstanding satire on modern society life, "The Women," arrived at Auckland this morning by the Mariposa after a triumphal eeason in Australia. The Auckland eeason will open at His Majesty's Theatre on Easter Saturday. Box plans are now open. The cast is headed by Miss Irene Purcell, stage and screen etar, who has been seen here in many films, the most recent being "Man in Possession." Mary Dees 19 another interesting cast member. She achieved fame in the film "Saratoga," when she "doubled" for Jean Harlow after the death of that famous actreee. "The Women" ran for over 800 performances in New York and the season in Melbourne lasted several months. Details are advertised.
