LAWN TENNIS.
PAPAKURA METHODIST CLUB. A successful season was reported at the annual meeting of the l'apakura Methodist Lawn Tennis Club. Officers .elected: — President, the Hev. I. M. Haynor; vicepresidents, Messrs. S. Evans and J. Milliken ; secretary, Miss D. Milllken ; treasurer, Miss E. Civil ; club captain, Mr. G. Buchan ; committee, Misses A. Ev-ans, F. Dickie, Messrs. K. East, E. Tunnlcllffie and M. Kemp. grammar club. Thefe 1 was a fair attendance »t the annual meeting of the Grammar Tennis Club. The report and balance-sheet presented gave every indication-that the club had experienced a successful year tinancially and otherwise. Officers elected :—President, Mr. K. D. Macdonald; secretary, Mr. W. Gibson ; assistant secretary, Mr. J. K. Ferguson; treasurer, Mr. C. Stuart; captain, Mr. W. Kogers; management committee, Messrs. Macdonald, Ward, Hlnley, Stuart, Ferguson, Kogers, Gibson; ladies' committee, Mrs. Spencer, Misses Heron, Kairn, A. Thomson, Macdougal. . 1
