DEFICIENT DIETS.
MALNUTRITION IN DOMINION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday. National action to reduce malnutrition among the people of the Dominion is suggested by the Hawera Hospital Board, which discussed a reported statement of Viscount Bledisloe that 5 per cent of the patients in the New Zealand hospitals were there because of malnutrition in their youth. Intensive education .in dietary matters was advocated by the board, and representations will be made to the Health Department.
