BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
An enjoyable afternoon was spent at George Court's social rooms recently, when Mrs. W. G. Allen entertained a number of her friends at a bridge party. Bowls of beautiful Iceland poppies added a distinctive note to the afternoon tea table. Prizewinners were: Highest score. Airs. W. Turner: hidden number, Airs. Darracli; consolation. Airs. Clowes, Those present were: ATesdames Allen Cotes, Ala son, Skelton, Sheldon. Clowes, Alullens. Grey. Brooks. Cowie, Rudd. B. Allen, Doull. Brown, Findlny, Darracli, Bainbridge. Hooton, Weir. Afarsliall. Cox, Aliller, Turner, Chadwick, Woods, Levton and Misses Roberts and Alontgomery.
