CITY WORKS LOAN.
The Gazette announces a variation in the terms of repayment of £200,000 of the Auckland City Council's 1030 works loan of £377.000. Instead of providing a sinking fund, the council may raise ( the amount upon terms, making it, together with • interest, repayable by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over 24 years. The matter will be before the council at this evening's meeting.
