CHANGE OF VENUE.
WOMAN'S SECOND TRIAL. APPLICATION BY CROWN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. The retrial of Isabel Annie Ares, alias Craike, of Hastings, on charges of unlawfully using an instrument, is to be heard at the next criminal session of the Supreme Court at Wellington. An order to this effect was made by Mr. Justice Blair this morning. Application for a change of venue was made by the Crown Prosecutor, Ml. IT. B. Lusk, counsel for the accused, Mr. C. G. darker, opposing the application. Bail in self of £1000, with two sureties of £500, was allowed.
At the first trial at Napier last week the jury failed to agree.
