CHINESE KILLED.
FALL OFF TRUCK.
WHEEL PASSES OVER NECK.
ACCIDENT AT MANGERE. Falling off a motor truck in Coronation Road, Mangerc, shortly after noon to-day, a Chinese, Mr. Wong Tong Ying, aged 54, married, was killed instantly. The truck belonged to a market gardener named Cher Yum, but be was not driving the vehicle. The accident happened when the vehicle swerved. The victim, who was riding in the back, fell on to the road. Dr. A. L. Noakes, of Onehunga, was (summoned, but when lie arrived the man was dead. Deceased, it is stated, was employed in the Mangere gardens of Cher Yum.
