AUCKLAND ROTARY CLUB.
President Syd. Harbutt occupied the chair at to-day's lunch meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club held in Milne and Choyce's reception hall. There was a large attendance and amongst the visitors were Messrs. W. U. Timewell and T. Mitchell (Whangarei), Clias. Todd and J. Warmsley (Wellington), G. E. Allard (Melbourne), H. Baily and G. Gibson (New Plymouth), and R. B. Spedding (Rotorua).
Rotarians Easdown and Paterson were welcomed back by the president. Messrs. J. Williams and Hugh Wright were elected members.
The speaker of the day was Sir Joseph Smith, who spoke on the subject of employment of boys. The vote of thanks was moved by Rotarian E. E. Kitchener.
