NO BRITISH DEFAULT.
AMERICAN WAR DEBTS VIEW
WASHINGTON, May 6. The Attorney-General, Mr. H. S. Cummings, declared that if Britain were in default of her war debt to the United States, Canada would not be in def aiilt by virtue of her being a self-governing Dominion of the Commonwealth of Nations. Mr. Cummings said the United Kingdom had not defaulted seeing that she had made token payments against her war debt instalments.
