PARKER TOO GOOD FOR LISTER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)' DONEDIN, this day. In a 15-round contest here on Saturday night Eddie Parker (12.0), of Timaru, beat Harry Lister (11.8), West Coast, by a narrow margin of points. There was a large attendance and a fast, scientific exhibition of boxing was provided, Parker's superior ringcraft gaining him the decision. Lister made the fight most of the way and there was a good deal of clinching, in which the West Coaster landed some telling blows. Parker was more at home in the distance fighting. AUSTRALASIAN TITLES. ALLOTTED TO INVERCARGILL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) IXVERCARGILL, this day. Advice has been received by the Southland Boxing Association that the New Zealand Boxinjr Council has allotted the annual Australasian championships to Invercargill this year. In a ten-round . heavy-weight hosing contest to-night Walter Neusel, of Germany, obtained a decision on points over Tommy Loughi-an, who was recently defeated by Camera (Italy) for the world s title. - •
