Following are the minimum rates of pay per month: Ghifcf stewards, chief cooks and cook-stewArdiS, with assistant or assistants, fl(> 4/; cook-steward where no assistant is employed, £18 4/; chief stewards or chief- cooks employed on vessels to carry 20 or more passengers fl extra;'assistant cooks aiul stewards', £12 4/; cadets, to £10 15/; stewardesses, £8 10/.
