WELLINGTON, Monday.
March 18 has been fixed by the Minister of. Labour, the Hon. W. A. Veitch, as the date for the commencement of the sitting of the special committee wnicli is tqj;"investigate the operation of the Workers' Compensation Act. _ The Minister stated to-day that the personnel of the committee was almost completed, and would be announced in the cpurse of a few days. The object of the "inquiry is to remedy existing anomalies in the legislation and if pos-1 sible'to improve the position of injured fcvurkersi. ' • •: '
