MAROONED AT MALTE BRUN.
\ nartv of alpinists were marooned by bad weather at the Malte Brun hut, Mount rook recently. For three days they were stuck there and all they could do was to play cards, to talk and to smoke. Now, thpre were six men In that party and flvo of them turned out to be smokers of Edgeworth. The sixth was in a hop.eless minority when the argument veered to the smoking dualities or different brands of tXcco Finally 6 succumbed: "Well, if Edgeworth is all you claim it to be.rlet me try a pipeful," said he. He smoked a pipe of Edgreworth. "Not bad, he exclaimed. "I'll try another."
