WOMEN'S DAVIS CUP.
REJECTED BT FEDERATION. (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, March 23. The International Lawn Tennis Federation rejected the American proposal for a women's Davis Cup competition. Britain has agreed to America's suggested modifications of the Davis Cup regulations, but the matter will be further considered at the Wimbledon meeting. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
