It was only to be expected that the break In the weather would improve the demand for feed Hues, and prices are firmer. ; There are some fluctuations in the oats market, offers to growers being firmer, especially for Algerians. Danish arc worth 3/0 to 4/, Duns 4/, and Gartons 3/9 to 4/. Oatsheaf chaff is firmer under the better ! local demand, and is now quoted at £6 10/ j to £6 15/ at country stations. The potato market shows a little firmer tone, though buyers are still able to purchase at £6 at country stations. The price of onions has risen to JE9 a ton at stations. Cocksfoot seed and white clover continne to be in good demand, red clover having been sold up to l/o for good samples. White is worth 1/ to 1/2, and up to d/ 3 for extra good samples. Ryegrass sed is also selling a little more freely, and there Is a good I inquiry for dresses seed. The demand for peas Is good, and prices are firmer. Partridges nre worth 6/3 to 6/6, and 7/ is reported to have been paid for an extra good sample. White Ivories are quoted at 6/6, and Prussian Blues at 8/ to 9/ at country stations. There is apparently very little linseed left | in the hands of growers, and the demand is | still very keen. It is now quoted up to £23 a ton at country stations. I
