ON A TROOP TRAIN.
PASSENGER'S EXPENSIVE MISTAKE. (By Telesraph.—'Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day George Larson pleaded guilty tn taking liquor aboard a troop train, but stated that when he boarded the train at Palmerston Xorth he was not aware it was for troops only. The magistrate pointed out the seriousness of the offence, but said he would take into consideration the man's straightforward evidence and his plea of ignorance. He would be fined £3-
