WHEAT SUPPLIES.
STATEMENT BY PREMIER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Discussing wheat prospects in New Zealand. Mr. Maaspy expressed to-day Wβ opinion that wheat ■will be at a price payable to growers for two or three years to come, and for that reason, as well as for patriotic reason**, he waa satisfied that more wfreat will be grown in N«w Zealand during the next few years than has been grown for years past. Regarding the option of a million bushels -which he had arranged with Canada, he wae sinre it 'Would be quite sufficient to cover any possible deficiency.
