THE LANS OF THE BULL FIGHT.
\ A remarkable occurrence Is reported from Valladolid, Spain. On Wednesday, January 22, three oxeu and a young fighting bull, which were grazing alongside the roadway near the town, got out of hand. It was market day, aud many peasants, mounted and on foot," were on the road driving their flocks and carrying goods for sale. The oxen and young bull got mixed up with the people, and a tragi-comlcal scene ensued. Men and women abandoned their animals and merchandise and climbed up trees cud into market carts, whilst the angry quartet fell upon a group of men and merchandise, the whole lot being mixed in Inextricable confusion. Whilst the men and women v.-ere escaping the maddened amlma's gored the shepherds and their Hocks. Four raeti and one woman were badly gored, one being covered with wounds and is vovr In a dying condition. After great difficulty the peasants managed to confine the animals that had ciiueed havoc in a small paddock, 'after they had been In full possession of the public highway for two hours, holding up the traffic Hens, Tilgs, lambs, ducks, and other animals all wandered over the countryside, and the road was covered with broken eggs, spilt milk, and trampled cheeses, as well as capes, shawls, and hats left behind by the peasants In their hurried flight.
