ATTACKED BY EAGLES.
A goatherd named Giovanni Sanni has narrowly escaped being kiduapped by two eagles while tending his flock in the Aosta Valley. The eagles lifted him in the air for a height of over thirty feet. Then, startled by his cries, they released their hold. Another goatherd found the man lying unconscious in a field. He is now In hospital, and In a semi-insane condition, and suffering from severe lacerations on the head and shoulders inflicted by the talons of the eagles, as well as from a fractured leg.
