NOTICES TO CORRESPONDENTS.
INQUIRER.—The -Municipal Corporations Act* provides that the whole of the members of every Council shall go out of office every two years, and fixes the day of election as the last Wednesday in April. The Mayor is elected on the same day, but he retires annually.
