CENTRAL MISSION BRASS BAND.
A concert promoted by the- Central Mission Brass Band was held last night at lb" Albert-street Hall. There was a large attendance, and the hearty applause that greeted the various items, both vocal and instrumental, showed that the audience fully appreciated the efforts of the performers. The following programme was gone through:—Overture. "Will o' the Wisp." Central Mission Band; pianoforte selection, "Obrion." Mrs T. Clarke; sone, "The Last Muster," Mr Bouskill: duet, "The Convent Bells." Misses Souster and Reading: selection, "The Gospel Trumpet," Brass Band; solo, "Bass Under the Rod," Miss Hinton; tenor solo, ''Santa Lucia," Bandsman T. Ttirley; recitation, "Billy's Rose." Miss Kassie Taylor; instiu-
mental quartette. Brass Band Members; recitation, "Dolly's Death," Miss Kassie Taylor; duet, "What Are the Wild Waves Saving," Misses Hinton; solo. Mrs J. «. Wood; pianoforte duet. Mr and Mrs Clarke, selection, "Sabbath Chimes," Brass Band. Quite a number of the performers had .o respond to a second call.
