When the result of the poll was announced, Mr Lawry, having first shaken hands with Mr Lennox, thanked the electora heartily for their support. He attributed hia return to the hard work done by his friends and to the support of the young colonials, fie was heartily cheered. Mr Lennox also thanked the electors.
