SUPREME COURT.—SITTINGS IN BANKRUPTCY.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBERIO.
[Before His Honor Sir George Arney, Knight, Chief Justice.] His Honor sat in bankruptcy jurisdiction this morning, and disposed of the following
cases : — Sahttei; and J. R. Yaile ; Deed of Arrangement. — Liabilities £25,000. — Mr. Weston applied for the arranging debtors for an order declaring the deed to be completely executed. The arranging debtors covenanted to pay the creditors 7s 6d in the pound, m three instalments, the third instalment of 2s 6cl being secured on the property which has bsen conveyed to Messrs. Shera and Clark. There w s no opposition, and His Honor issued an order declaring the complete execution of the deed. Simon Lipsxine.—Messrs. Hughes and Rees appeared for the bankrupt.- Mr. Hesketh appeared for the trustee. -The bankrupt came up to apply for his discharge from his his liabilities.—Mr. Hesketli opposed the discharge under the clauses 120 and 302 of the Bankruptcy Act. First, he opposed the immediate discharge of the bankrupt on the ground that certain properly was taken out of the estate, that no books of accounts were kept. [Left sitting.]
