STOCK AND STATIONS.

In this market we have nothing new to report, transactions being limited in consequence of the season of the year. At the yards on Wednesday, 2954 sheep came forward, comprising a number of both cross-breds and merinos of good quality. Best cross-breds reached 14s, and merinos up to 10s each, being average of 24d per lb for the former, and quiet 2Ad for the latter. In cattle, 154 were yarded, and amongst them were some pens of prime quality beef which reached up to £19 10s for bnllocks, and £15 for cows. Ordinary quality beef sold at 27s 6d per lOOlbs, while very prime quality reached as high as 32s 6d per lOOlbs The latter, however, is an exceptional quotation. Of pigs, about 18 were yarded, and for them there was a dull market.
