MOTHER GOOSE PANTOMINE

In the "Mother Goose" Pantomine to be staged at the Opera House, on Friday next, one of the principal, performers is Mr. Will Eayner, the fortunate possessor of a wonderful tenor voice. ThA following criticism of this artist appeared in a leading Perth paper during the company's recent sea son there : — "Will Rayner 's singing of the "Veteran's Song" in Mother Goose will be long rememt/ered as one of the most forceful pieces of vocalism ever heard in -Perth. Mr. Rayner astounds his audience by appearing for half-an-hour ,in the _ guise of a bald headed comedian, and at the end of that time delivers Stephen Adams' stir ring song in a truly masterly manner. During the rendition he occasionally reaches top b, a tenor note possible only to such singers as Mr, Peter Roxby, but few others. With it all Mr. Rayner has a tremendous balance sur-< prising in a pantomine artist." Mr. Rayner is only one of the many fine artists to be seen in Mother Goose. Others prominent in the caste include Mr. James Gerald, Australia's greatest acrobatic female impersonator ; Miss Miss Rosie Colmari, a dainty principal boy with an excellent soprano voice ; Miss Rosie obnnn, a dainty principal girl ; Miss Carmen Coleman, a dainty' eccentric comedienne ; Will Speed, the clever trick cyclist ; and the marvellous Frede Bros., whose musical comedy acrobatic act is the finest of its kind ever seen in Australasia. Other pieces to be staged during the season are 'Cinderella," "Old Mother Hubbard," and "Little Bo Peep." The box plan will be opened shortly where seats may be" reserved without extra charge.
