MRS. C. H. CLINKARD The death occurred at tho Auckland Hospital yesterday of Mrs. Julia Lctitia Clinkard, wife of Mr. C. H. Clinkard, M.P., of Rotorua. She was aged 70 years. Mrs. Clinkard was born in England, and was tho youngest daughter of tho lato Mr. Hooper, of Warkworth. She to New Zealand with her parents 68 years ago and lived in the North of Auckland for many years, and nioro recently in tho Rotorua district. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Clinkard leaves fivo sons, Messrs. C. 11. Clinkard, barrister, of Wanganui; G. W. Clinkard, general manager for tho Tourist and Health Department, at Wellington; C. T. Clinkard, of Tauranga; A. E. Clinkard and S. E. Clinkard, of Auckland. MRS. A. WIS HART Ono of tho early residents of Auckland, Mrs. Agnes Wishart, died yesterday, at the ago of 85 years, at her homo in Glasgow 'Terrace, Grafton. Mrs. Wishart was tho daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T." Vernon, who arrived in Auckland by tho ship Jane Gilford in 1842. In 1865 she married Mr. Alexander Wishart, who, after taking part in two gold rushes in Austrialia, came to New Zealand and entered business in Auckland. later joined tho railway servico, reliripg in 1906. Mr. and Mrs. Wishart celebrated tho 65th anniversary of their wedding in September, 1930. Mrs. Wishart came of a long-lived family, her twin sister dying in 1929. whilo her eldest sister died at tho ago of 85 years and her brother in his 83rd year. She is survived by Mr. Wishart and an adult family. MR. A. MURDOCH [IIY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] DUNEDIN. Tuesday The death occurred to-dav at, the age of 58 years of Mr. Alexander Murdoch, who was well known in commercial and sporting circles. Mr. Murdoch was tho founder and principal of the firm of Murdoch and Company, manufacturing chemists, which ho built up from small beginnings to an extensive business. For many years he was closely associated with racing, among tho horses which lie owned being Kilboyno, winner of tho Stewards' Handicap and other good races, All British, Red Kriss, frßoncna and Felony. He is survived by his wife, three sons and ono daughter.
