WALTER WEST DIES.
Xapier, March o. Walter Albert West, who was shot fo\ir times by Alice May Parkinson (who attempted to commit suicide immediately afterwards) died at Napier hospital this afternoon without regaining consciousness, aged 21 years. He received three bullets in the head an done in tho chest. West lingered in an unconscious condition for" 67 \ hours.
At 2.30 o'clock this afternoon the condition of the.woman. Parkinson was .stated to be slightly improving.
