It is reported that Kapuna, looking very big after a long spell, was out on the track again at Wmgatui last week. He is being piepared for the winter steeplechasing season. The somewhat disappointing One Pai lias been purchased by Mr. D. Lupton, of Waverley,' who intends using him as a hunter. Paratoo has gone on the right way since the Rangitikei Meeting, and Wanganui track watchers expect him to go well at Awapuni. Paratoo is still a hack, but another wm will lift him out of the_ ranks.
