The fortnightly meeting of Excelsior Lodge No. 11, U.A.0.D., was held recently, Arch Druid 80. Jennings presiding ihe bards rep6rt was received and sick pay amounting to £20 14s and accounts \yere passed for payment. Two new candi-> dates were initiated and several more were proposed. P.D.P. Bro. Johnston reported on the activities of the Dispensary Board Secretary Bro. M'Laughlin reported on the proposed hospital scheme, and it was decided that all Druid lodges in the city be asked to appoint' delegates to discuss the schr^o. A ladies'.night was held, when a most enjoyable lime was spent' dancing, cards, and musical items being indulged in. Items wore given" by little Miss Lola Edmonds and Bro. Edmonds while tho Kxcelsior orchestra'pliyedflm dance music ■
