SUICIDE OF A WELL-KNOWN A UCKLANDER. [BY TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, 8th March.
At the inquest held on Henry John Hartnoll, well known in commercial circles, the evidence showed that he had taken " Rough on Rats." He left a letter to his wife stating that he intended to destroy himself. He was mentally depressed through being out of employment. He was formerly with Messrs. Nathan and Co. for years. He leaves a widow and nine children. A verdict was returned that deceased took poison while temporarily deranged. The deceased was a brother of the Hon. Wm. Hartuoll, member of the House of Assembly of Tasmania.
