NURSING SISTER was presented by the wellknown Highden sportsman, Mr. J. Goring Johnston, with the object of augmenting the proceeds of the Palmerston North Catholic Bazaar, in connection with which a prize packet competition was held, with the filly as first prize. The drawing resulted in Mr. J. K. Strang, of Masterton, proving the winner, the successful ticket being No. 5463.
