Deeley), on the third day, with TACT a poor third. 4. DESERT GOLD decorated with the blue riband after annexing the Great Northern Derby (1½ miles). 5. Messrs. W. G. Stead, T. H. Lowry and Bethune. 6. DOWNHAM (J. O’Shea)returning to scale after capturing the Visitors’ Handicap (five furlongs) on the second day. The second and third horses are CHAKWANA (A.
