Football match between ladies and French sailors at Portsmouth, Eng. A football match was recently played between Portsmouth ladies and French bluejackets. The sailors had to play with their hands tied behind their backs, one of the conditions of the game. The illustration shows Mlle. Alexandra Vasse, the French goalkeeper of the Portsmouth Ladies’ Football team, making a fine save.
