Front cover of the programme for a Wellington Savage Club event at which the then Governor General (Lord Bledisloe) was installed as Ariki Nui. The artist of this design, showing a man playing a pūtōrino, was A.S. Paterson, who also designed an elaborate inner border for the programme, shown on p.50. The programme is part of the Wellington Savage Club Records (MS-Group-0557) held at the Alexander Turnbull Library. ATL Picture ref.: M-S85-027-5/25-COV.
