Lieut MacMahon, Spithead, Here the damaged submarine was opened and the bodies of her officers and crew who had died when she sank were buried with full honours. The flags are at half mast, one being seen against the funnel. The other flag on the lighter denotes that she is "towing a dangerous burden," The men at the bows, it will be notices, are taking soundings.
