Distinguished Russian attends the memorial service in London to the late Tsar Nicholas 11., once the Czar of All the Russias, who was shot by the Bolsheviks on July 16 last. General Zamonoff, Chief of the Russian Military Staff in England, at the Russian Chapel in Welbeck Street, London, where the memorial service was held, among those who attended being the King and Queen. The ex-Tsar, who was 50 years of age at the time of his death, was the first cousin of the King.

1. The arrival of Nurse Cavell’s remains at Dover on May 14 last, after being conveyed across the Channel by the destroyer Radiant from Brussels for re-interment at Norwich, England. The procession passing along the Dover Pier headed by wreaths sent by the Belgian Queen. Inset: Nurse Edith Cavell, who was condemned and shot by the Germans in Brussels on October 12, 1915, for aiding English and Belgians to escape from Prussian cruelty. 2. The body of Nurse Cavell arrives on a gun carriage at Westminster Abbey, where a special memorial service was held, the King and Queen being present. 3. The coffin being taken into Westminster Abbey. 4. Scene in the Abbey during the Nurse Cavell Memorial Service. 5. The departure from the Abbey of the military procession held in honour of Nurse Cavell’s funeral. 6. The coffin passing the Houses of Parliament on the way to Liverpool Street Station, whence it was conveyed to Norwich for burial.
