Tukututu panels for the Auckland meeting house are being made by a group of women of whom Mrs hina Cooper (left) and Mrs Grace Bidois (right) are some of the leading figures. The work proceeds in a room set aside in the Auckland Maori Community Centre where the panels are kept in an ingenious rack enabling work to be done on both sides of several panels.
