ODE TO A SERGEANT MAJOR.
A Scotsman had ton sone One was a politician and the next - was no good either. The third was a financier, and the fourth - occupied the cell next to him.
The fifth was a parson and the t sixth - had no conscience either.
The seventh was a Brigadier and the eighth - didn’t .go to the war either
The ninth was a Sergeant; Major, and the tenth - didn’t know who his fatl er was either.
