NAVAL CASUALTY
News that Joseph William Watson, aged 28, who was serving as assistant cook and 'baker in the navy, is pre sunied to have lost his life on war service on June 29, has been received by Mr. E. J. Watson, secretary of the Auckland Bakers’ Union. Watson went to sea in the merchant service in June, 1939, and a month after the outbreak of war transferred to the navy
