Award Of Distinguished Flying Cross TWO NEW ZEALANDERS Two more New Zealanders have been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. They are — Flying Officer Brian John George Carberry. Pilot Officer Michael James Herrick. Pilot Officer Herrick is the son of Mr. E. J. Herrick, Hastings, and is only 19 years of age. He was educated at Wanganui Collegiate School, where he matriculated, and he left the college to enter the Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, as a cadet, in the middle of last year. No details have yet been received concerning the exploits which gained the award for these two officers.
