MESSAGE IN BOTTLE.

Mrs. H. Campbell, of 31 Nairn Street, has just received a message which her husband, Private E. H. D. Campbell, dropped overboard in a bottle from a troopship leaving New Zealand. The message reads: “Have just seen last of New Zealand. Everything O.K. Ten hours out.” The bottle was discovered among some driftwood on Kapiti Island, and 'the finder posted the message on to Mrs. Campbell, who by a strange coincidence was not far away from where the bottle was found. She was spending a holiday at Waikanae at the time of its discovery.
