Blenheim, March, 1953 The Sixty-Sixth Annual Convention ol the i I was held in Wesley Church Hall. Blenfrom March 12th-18th, 1953, and was Attended splendid representation from Districts and There were present seven Dominion rs. nine Dominion Superintendents, 14 District is, and the following Unions were represented delegates (from Districts North to Smith) iVhangarei, VVarkworth, Devonport, Takapuna, Remuera, Koln-St. Heliers, Otahuhu, Papatoetoe, fanranga, Tc Awamutu, Te Kuin, Te Kniti Maori, Plymouth, Hawera, Eltham, Wanganui vYanganui East, Gonville, Aramoho, Hastings, Napier, Gisbbrne, Dannevirke, Levin, Pabnerston S nth, Peilding, Carterton, Wellington, Wellii ■ entral, Johnsonville, Upper Haft, Brooklyn, Lower ilutt. Picton, Blenheim, Springlands, Nelson, Richmond, Motueka, Christchurch Central. Riccarton, rapanui, Opawa, Spreydon, Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Bryndwr, St. Alban's, Linwood, Woolston, Tknaru, Vshburton, Tinwald, Waimate, Dunedin Central. din South. N.E. Valley, siornington, Oamaru, 1 Island, Kaikorai, < lore, Invercargilt, and vVinton. 'I her were I s ' first-time delegates. The ntertatning District of Marlborough did an i \cellent vork and the smooth running of a large invention reflected the greatest credit on ine wonderful women of this District. The gracious Spitality of the many women, members and nonlembers, who BO willingly entertained the large delegation, the helpfulness of the press and business people, and added to this the glorious sunshine of Blenheim made the daj .mention ones of pleasure as well as husin< There was a quiet spirit of optimism anions embers of Convention, not because the way ahead seemed less fraught with difficulties, hut because a strengthened Faith in an Almighty Cod. whose resources are infinite.
