THE THREEFOLD PLEDGE.
Convention recommended that Unions approach the Ministers’ Association in their own districts to get them to use the following pledge in their churches and to bring the matter before their congregations:— In the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ I renounce gambling in all its forms (this includes Raffles and Art Unions); I renounce strong drink and will never partake of it as a beverage; I will, by God’s grace, live purely and victoriously. Signature - These cards may be purchased at Headquarters at 5/- per 100.
