CORRESPONDENCE COLUMN.
A TRIBFTE TO W.C.T.U. HOSTEL. Auckland, New Zealand, May oth, 1929. Dear Madam, Just one more day for me in New Zealand, and I return to the States. Before leaving, may I pen my appreciation for my loving home-shelter and comforts I have had since here at the Abbey. It was the first place of many that I’ve found contentment and home comforts. I have had trying experiences. even at other hostels, but never have I found a sw<*eter. dearer Matron than Mrs J. Cooper, whom we can feel will always look after the comfort and good of the girls; even in sickness or little worries, she has always lent a loving hearing. The girls are a dear group of love and harmony, and I find myself leaving with a greater store of love in my heart, for all there. Again I will express my deepest gratitude to the staff, dear Mrs Cooper. Matron, and the loving shelter and comforts of the Abbey. With my very best wishes. I am, gratefully, MINNITA BRAASCH. Los u'ngeles, Calif. USA.
