Peak Madam, —As will have been seen by those who read the Convention number of the White Ribbon, we are working for a large bazaar to be held at the end of June, to furnish funds to raise and re roof the large room of the Coffee Rooms. The roof has been re paired a number of times already, and it is not any use doing anything further in that way. Those of our dear sisters who were with us at the Kaiapoi Convention will remember the room, and
that its great fault was the roof being so low, which we hope to rectify, and make it more suitable for again welcoming our beloved comrades at a Convention in the near future. We
appeal to all our dear sister Unions for help in any form they please, for which we shall be most grateful. We need {\oo. 1 am, Dear Madam Editor, Yours in W.K. bonds, B. Sou LBV, Hon. Sec. W.C.T.U., Kaiapoi. April, iquo.
