THE OLDEST BISHOP
Death of Dr. W. H. Williams The Right Rev.. Watkin Herbert Williams, D.D.^who was Bishop of Bangor from 1899 to 1924,, died on November 19 at his honrfe at Abeiv dovey, North Wales. He was ninetynine last August, and believed to be the oldest prelate m the. world.- He outlived three of his successors to the bishopric, and was the only survivor of the four Welsh bishops who held office when the Church m Wales was disestablished. Born m 1845, he was educated at Westminster and Christ Church, Oxford.
