A DAY OF PRAYER.
Once again His Majesty has called upon us to observe a special day of prayer, this time on September Bth. The Vicar-General does not intend to issue any special form of service, ."-but. no doubt all clergy and congregations will rise to their duty on that day, remembering how wonderfully God answered their prayers last time. We must never forget for a • moment that it is not merely our ■ ■ s ' ■■ ■ * • ■..„■.■■ ' . , - ■ ■• . /. ■ cash and our comforts that are m danger (though they are) , but all our ideas of kindness,, justice, mercy and truth.
