Tragic Loss Of Life Pedestrian Killed Instantly A man of 50 walking along the road was killed instantly when he stumbled directly in front of a car. The man, whose name has not yet been released had been drinking. He was wearing dark clothing, the road was poorly lighted and rain was falling heavily. Witnesses state that the driver had no chance of avoiding the man.*. This fatal accident happened recently, and is quoted from Transport Department files. You must be seen to be safe Keep a sharp look-out before crossing the road. Where there are no footpaths walk facing on-coming traffic. Use pedestrian crossings or cross in lighted areas whereever possible … Wear something white when walking at night or better still carry a torch.
